Non ha senso: è come dire «tanto ormai i saldi sono finiti».
Sì i saldi sono finiti, ma ci sono infinite altre possibilità di acquisto.
E non bisognerebbe nemmeno perdere tempo a lamentarci di non avere più questo o quello,
o rimuginare sui nostri errori o sul male che ci hanno fatto gli altri.
Sbagli ne facciamo tutti e cattiverie ne riceviamo tutti.
Non è semplice ottimismo: fa le cose che ti piacciono, che ti stimolano e lascia perdere il resto.
Non parlare con chi ti è antipatico, con chi ti annoia, non guardare i film che non ti interessano, spegni la televisione che ti irrita.
E se invece c'è qualcosa che per te ha realmente valore, lotta per realizzarlo.
Sei vivo a novant'anni come a venti.
E lotta senza paura, col piacere, con il gusto di farlo, come fosse una gara di sci, o di tennis, o una maratona.
